Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our team. The successful candidate will provide therapeutic services to clients experiencing a range of emotional and behavioral challenges. This role involves conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and delivering individual, couples, family, or group therapy according to the candidate's scope of practice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for conducting intake/assessments for all assigned clients.
  • Responsible for individualized treatment planning, treatment referrals, and consultation with clinical supervisor.
  • Attend training sessions & staff meetings with clinical supervisor.
  • Conduct on-site or telehealth individual, conjoint, group, or family therapy sessions under supervision of the clinical supervisor.
  • Provide crisis intervention and crisis support as needed.
  • Accurately document therapy sessions according to ethical and legal guidelines.
  • Responsible for meeting deadlines in regard to documentation, billing, and assigned tasks according to indicated timelines.
  • Other duties as required.

Skills & Experience

  • Master's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field.
  • License issued by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) and valid BBS number in good standing required. (LPCC, LMFT, LCSW, LPsyD)
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a clinical setting.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working with diverse populations
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and ethical practice.
  • Strong understanding of therepeutic approaches for working with children, adolescents, and adults with mental health disorders and able to recognizes the signs, symptoms, and impact of trauma.
