Job Description

We are seeking dedicated, reliable part-time Associates (AMFT, ACSW) to see 20 clients per week, in addition to two units of supervision.   (Full Time positions may be discussed).

*Supervision is with an LMFT  

This is an in person position. Associates must be local and able to physically report to one of our offices, located in Huntington Beach and/or Anaheim, CA. 

 

Key Responsibilities

Associate Therapists must be willing to see clients of all ages including children.  Associate Therapists may need to be available some evenings and weekends.  Associate Therapists must be able to attend Supervision times. 

Must be in good standing and have an active registration number with the BBS (Board of Behavioral Sciences).

Associate Therapists must have a minimum of 1200 Hours accrued under current registration.  

 

Associate Therapists must currently on first Associate registration number.

Compensation:
All admin hours paid at $16 per hour.

$30.00 per completed session, when seeing <40 clients per pay period

$36.00 per completed session, when seeing 40-49 clients per pay period

$42.00 per completed session, when seeing 50+ clients per pay period

Skills & Experience

Competency in the following clinical abilities:

Formulating treatment plans

Diagnosing

Detailed session notes using TherapyNotes.com

Proficient time management skills

Understanding and the implementation of boundaries.

Knowledge of psychotherapy models and interventions

Familiarity with the DSM-V and diagnostic techniques

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Excellent references and client retention rates

Maintain current BBS Registration

Adhere to ethical standards required by our field

License/Registration:
AMFT, ACSW, APCC (Required)

*Associates must have training and/or coursework in family therapy and therapy with children. Direct experience may be considered in lieu of training.

*Associates interested in seeing couples must have additional training in couples therapy (Gottman, EFT, etc).
