Hello!
We are a small practice in Lakewood, Colorado serving ages 12 and up and specializing in relationships with self and others. This includes all types of anxiety and depression as well as chronic trauma, ADHD, couples, and substance use.
Our site was recently approved through the Colorado Health Service Corps (CHSC) relating to our commitment to treating substance abuse. Our employees can apply with CHSC for contracts to support payment of their student loans, with committments to maintain 20% or more of their caseload working with substance abuse. For this type of contracted position, it is important to be skilled in motivational interviewing and, ideally, the CRAFT approach as well.
We incorporate a variety of approaches into treatment, based on the risks and benefits of each approach and the application of each to any particular client's needs. These approaches include humanistic, psychodynamic, narrative, CBT, experiential, solution-focused, and somatic and we work with these in organic ways that support the therapeutic alliance. Because of the intentional ways that we work with clients and integrate multiple modalities, we provide a lot of support and training during the onboarding process, and we expect team members to be open to expanding their skillset relating to the effective application of these modalities.
We are happy to work with pre-licensed and licensed clinicians, and look forward to employees being able to move into supervisory positions in the future. There will be plenty of opportunity for growth for those looking to diversify their work over time.
Therapists who are looking to open their own practice are not the best fit for this team. We are looking to invest in expanding the skills and opportunities for our team-members and are looking for individuals who will invest their energy in our goals as well.
