Should I Stay or Should I Go — Making Life Decisions

Presented by Patricia Arredondo, EdD

Thursday, April 9, 2026

9am-10:30am PT / 11am-12:30pm CT / 12pm-1:30pm ET

Event held online via Zoom, link to access provided upon registration.

This seminar invites mid and senior career professionals to assess their current life/career status, explore options and alternatives, envision new pathways, and prepare a plan to move forward on their journey. All career journeys have milestones and plateaus; and the latter may lead to frustrations and self-doubts about what comes next. Through the use of self-assessments about motivation, values, and interests, individuals may evaluate current options they have been thinking about. Thus, participants will be in a better position to make decisions about the question–Should I Stay or Should I Go? The ‘five-year rule’ about staying or going will be described.

By identifying current dilemmas and barriers to desired change and visualizing life dreams and possible pathways and options, participants will clarify their personal and professional assets—values, motivation, skill sets, and past decision-making experiences—and prepare a plan with action steps using the ‘five-year rule’.

Zoom link will be available on course page in “My Courses” upon event registration.

This program, when attended in its entirety, offers 1.5 CEs for Psychologists, 1.5 IL CEUs for Counselors and Social Workers, 1.5 BBS California CEUs for LPCCs, LPSWs, and LMFTs, or 1.5 NBCC Clock Hours.

Price: $30.00
