💼 The Role:

  • Pay: $50 per client session + $20 per admin hour.
  • Caseload: 10-15 sessions per week (telehealth, flexible scheduling).
  • Work with teens and adults on their healing journeys.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide High-Quality Telehealth Services:

    • Conduct virtual therapy sessions for teens and adults, focusing on trauma, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, neurodivergence, and life transitions.
    • Maintain a consistent caseload of 10-15 client sessions per week.
  • Documentation and Administrative Tasks:

    • Complete session notes, treatment plans, and other necessary documentation in compliance with ethical and legal standards.
    • Submit documentation in a timely manner through the practice's electronic health record (EHR) system.
  • Engage in Supervision and Professional Growth:

    • Participate in weekly paid supervision to support clinical development and meet licensure requirements.
    • Collaborate with the practice owner to maintain a high standard of care and stay informed about best practices.
  • Client-Centered Care:

    • Build strong, therapeutic relationships with clients to support their healing and personal growth.
    • Tailor interventions to meet the unique needs of individuals, teens, and women in alignment with the practice's specialties.
  • Collaborate with the Practice Team:

    • Communicate effectively with the practice owner to ensure seamless client care.
    • Contribute to a positive, trauma-informed team culture.
  • Commitment to Ethical Practice:

    • Adhere to all professional, ethical, and legal standards as required by licensing boards and practice policies.
    • Maintain confidentiality and respect for all clients served.

Skills & Experience

  • Education and Licensure:

    • Possess an associate-level licensure in California (e.g., AMFT, ACSW, APCC).
  • Clinical Expertise:

    • Experience or strong interest in treating trauma, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, and neurodivergence.
    • Ability to work effectively with teens, adults, and women navigating life transitions.
  • Therapeutic Skills:

    • Proficient in evidence-based approaches such as CBT, DBT, EMDR, or mindfulness-based interventions.
    • Strong rapport-building and communication skills to foster therapeutic relationships.
  • Tech-Savviness:

    • Comfort using telehealth platforms and electronic health record (EHR) systems for virtual sessions and documentation.
  • Organization and Time Management:

    • Ability to manage a caseload of 10-15 weekly client sessions while maintaining timely documentation.
  • Commitment to Growth:

    • Open to supervision and feedback to enhance clinical skills and support licensure requirements.
