Job Description

We are a culturally sensitive, identity-affirming, non-pathological private practice in Highland Park, Northeast Los Angeles. We are seeking a registered associate therapist (AMFT, APCC, ACSW) who can maintain a minimum of 18-20 sessions per week with the opportunity to work towards full-time after having built up to and maintaining at least 24 sessions a week. We primarily focus on providing individual and couples psychotherapy for adults and teens with an emphasis on trauma recovery, specifically intergenerational trauma, grief and loss, Highly Sensitive (HSP), and neurodivergent people. Our therapeutic approach is rooted in IFS (Internal Family Systems) and incorporates other modalities, including cognitive-behavioral, solutions-oriented, attachment- and relationally-focused, and somatic experiences as needed. Our therapists value self-growth and are continuously curious about the intersections of their narratives with those they learn from their clients. They offer personalized, compassionate, and high-quality therapy services. A special welcome to applicants who have a strong desire to deepen their therapeutic work through the IFS lens, and therapy is their second career.
