Job Description

Brooke Schwartz Psychotherapy is hiring a therapist (ACSW or LCSW) to work predominantly with teens in West LA (hybrid in-person and virtual).

This is a wonderful opportunity to experience private practice and hone in on areas of interest with support and guidance from an established therapist. We are looking for the following candidate:

• Desire to work with children/teens (does not need to be entire caseload)
• Behavioral orientation (CBT, DBT, ACT)
• Strong understanding of ethical guidelines and professional standards in psychotherapy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Culturally competent
• Strong organizational skills
• Interest in growing with a small company
• Preference for those willing to do hybrid (remote and in-person in West LA)

Compensation (ACSW): starting rate of $60/clinical hour and increase based on number of clients seen per week

Compensation (LCSW): starting rate of $100/clinical hour and increase based on number of clients seen per week

Non-clinical hours paid at admin rate of $20/hour

$100/month for self-promotion and marketing

Requirements

• Must have experience and/or interest providing evidence-based therapies (CBT, ACT, DBT, etc)
• Must be in good standing and have active ACSW or LCSW registration numbers
• Must have completed CA BBS required Suicide Risk Assessment & Prevention training prior to start date

Preferences

• Also have license in NY, ME, or FL or be willing to acquire

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct consultation calls
• Complete notes within 48 hrs
• Assess and diagnose clients' mental health conditions
• Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual client needs
• Conduct psychotherapy sessions with clients using evidence-based therapeutic techniques
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals including psychiatrists to provide comprehensive care
• Monitor and evaluate clients' progress throughout the therapy process
• Attend individual and group supervision
• Stay up-to-date with current research and best practices in psychotherapy
