Residential Support Staff / Technicians:
 
Full-time day shift (7am-3:30pm)
Full-time day/swing split shift (7am-3:30pm & 3pm-11:30pm)
Part-time overnight shift (11pm-7:30am)

Key Responsibilities

Primary Purpose and Function:

The primary role of the Residential Support Staff I (RSS I) position is to participate as a member of the Residential Team in providing direct support for clients with activities of daily living, upholding licensing and Joint Commission standards within the facility, creating and maintaining a safe environment within the home and implementing clinical interventions developed by the clinical team. 

Skills & Experience

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED is required; Bachelor Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or other Health 

Related Field preferred.

• If no BA or BS, a minimum of 1 year of full-time experience, or its part-time equivalent, working in a 

program serving persons with mental disabilities in a direct care setting.

• If the employee does not have the required experience, he or she shall participate in a specific plan of 

supervision and in-service training to perform the job.

• Must have sufficient knowledge of Licensing Regulations.

• Specific, required, current, and active licensure, registration, or certification must be maintained in good 

standing.

• Preferred candidates should have sound understanding of mental illness, co-occurring disorders, and 

milieu therapy.

• Proficient computer skills and ability use various software programs.

• Have a valid driver’s license in good standing and auto insurance.

• Successfully complete drug screen and comprehensive background check.

• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment.
