       Therapist NY resident with CA license

EMDR or/and EFCT therapist required with possible Sex Therapy training 

Are you a depth-oriented EMDR or EFCT therapist who thinks in terms of attachment, nervous system regulation, and relational healing? Our Bay Area–based boutique psychotherapy practice is expanding and seeking a warm, relational clinician to provide online therapy to California clients. We are looking for a clinician that lives in NY so the clinician can expand with us.

About the practice

We are a trauma-informed, attachment-focused practice serving adults, couples, and professionals seeking deep, lasting change. Clinicians integrate attachment theory, trauma-focused modalities, and sexuality with evidence-based approaches in a modern, relational style.

What we offer

Steady stream of motivated, primarily private-pay California clients, with support in building a stable caseload of approximately 20 client sessions per week.

Fully remote clinical work focused on depth, not volume, with flexible scheduling.

Administrative, billing, and marketing support so you can focus on clinical care.

What we are looking for

You currently live in New York State and hold an active California clinical license (e.g., LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, Psychologist), with at least 2 years of post-licensure experience.

Strong grounding in attachment theory and a genuinely relational, depth-oriented clinical stance.

EMDR-trained or/and EFCT-trained, with a clear interest in trauma and attachment work.

Experience or advanced training in sex therapy is a strong plus, especially for work with couples and individuals navigating intimacy, desire, and relational dynamics.

Thoughtful, self-reflective, culturally attuned clinician who enjoys working with high-functioning, insight-oriented clients.
