Full or Part Time Remote Licensed Therapist

Job Summary

  • Licensed therapist (LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, PsyD, PhD) will provide direct mental health services to client’s in a private practice setting. This may include, but is not limited to individuals, couples, families, and children.

Availability

  • Caseload will build to 15-35 hours per week to build over time. Hours will be based on full or part time status.
  • Therapist must be able to work 2-3 days including either 2 week day evenings or 1 weekday evening and 1 weekend day.

Salary 

  • Benefits available for full time staff.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 15 – 35 per week

Key Responsibilities

Major Tasks

  • Provide comprehensive clinical case management and appropriate therapeutic services for assigned clients.
  • Assist in maintaining all clinical charts including but not limited to Treatment Plans, Diagnosis, Mental Status Exams, Progress Notes, and Discharge Summaries.
  • Maintaining contract authorizations
  • Assist in assessing client’s needs, strengths and level of functioning.
  • Consult with designated licensed supervisor regarding assessment and treatment of clients.
  • Consult with collaborative partners in the best interest of each client, as necessary and appropriate (i.e. County Social Workers, psychiatrist, health care professionals, school staff, Regional Center service providers, etc.).
  • Consult and communicate with the client’s natural support system, as appropriate.
  • Participate in weekly individual and/or group supervision, if needed.
  • Ability to maintain daily / weekly schedule to ensure client’s needs are met.
  • Abides by the California BBS Code of Ethics
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Skills & Experience

Job Qualifications

  • Valid unrestricted License with the BBS in the state or California
  • Completion of Master Degree in Counseling Psychology, Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, Sociology or Behavioral Science, through an accredited institution, that meets APP accreditation.
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check / finger printing and drug test.

Ideal Applicant 

  • Advanced training or certifications in at least one of the following: DBT, CBT, Brain Spotting, EMDR, Play Therapy, Anger Management, Prolonged Exposure, Emotion Focused Therapy, Gottman Couples Therapy
  • Must be trained in working with Couples using any couples therapy approach (Gottman, EFT, RLT, etc.)
