Company Description
We are a diverse team of MFTs, ACSWs, and APCCs of different ethnicities and cultures/languages (Farsi, Mandarin, Spanish, Afrikaans, and more) and intend to expand on that to create the most multicultural team that we can available to clients. We are minority, veteran-owned and all have a combined ~75 years of experience in community mental health settings working with Med-cal clients in Los Angeles and Orange County.
Throughout the years we have all had experience working with severe and persistently ill clients, SUD/Dual-Diagnosis, homeless, families, couples, adolescents and children, court-mandated and justice involved clients, and LGBTQIA+. Our mission is to provide low-cost services to all clients seeking support regardless of socioeconomic, cultural, or any other demographic factors.
Role Description
This is a fully remote position where you will have the flexibility to provide outpatient mental health therapy services to any clients located in California. You will have the chance to receive clinical supervision and BBS hours toward licensure. The position incudes evaluating, diagnosing and treating adult, adolescent, child, couples, and families. Job Description
- Part-time
- Flexible- Minimum of 5 client hours per week, no max.

- Ideal candidates will have strong communication skills and be able to work autonomously.
- Must have at least 1 year of prior experience in a clinical setting
- Must be a BBS registered Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT), Clinical Social Worker (ACSW), Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC), or the equivalent in CA
- Complete diagnostic psycho-social assessments, treatment plans, and treatment plan updates, as well as discharge plans within established period.
- Establish positive, trusting rapport with patients.
- Diagnose and treat mental health disorders of clients in units of treatment consisting of individuals, couples, families/children, and/or group.
- Meets with patients regularly to provide counseling, treatment and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Conducts ongoing assessments of patient progress.
- Involves and advises family members when appropriate.
- Refers clients to outside specialists or agencies when necessary.
- Maintains thorough records of patient meetings and progress.
- Follows all safety protocols and maintains client confidentiality.
- Contributes to practice by accomplishing related tasks as neccesary.
- Must hold a valid AMFT, ACSW, or APCC registration in accordance with local regulations
- Experience in providing psychotherapy services to individuals, couples, and families
- Willing to learn therapeutic techniques and modalities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and remotely
- Understanding of ethical guidelines and commitment to maintaining confidentiality
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to establish rapport and build therapeutic relationships
