Job Description

Donovan Individual and Family Counseling Services Inc. is currently seeking a part-time licensed therapist (LMFT/LCSW/LPCC) to join our team. This position involves delivering 10 to 20 clinical hours per week, both in person and through telehealth. We manage all administrative and logistical aspects of the business, allowing you to focus on what you love: providing therapy to clients, developing treatment plans, and documenting progress. We are experiencing a surge in demand for in-person therapy, especially from clients seeking help with trauma-related issues. We are particularly interested in recruiting a skilled trauma therapist with expertise in somatic work, attachment theory, inner child work, and dissociation. While prior experience is preferred, we are open to providing training to the right candidate who shares our values and will fit well within our team.

  • Clinical Pay: $50.00-$60.00 per clinical hour 
  • Admin Pay: $16.50 per admin hour.
  • The licensed therapist will need to go through the credentialing process with insurance, which may hold up employment.

Skills & Experience

We are currently looking for a licensed therapist based in California who can provide counseling services to a diverse range of clients, ages 6 to 65. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in individual therapy, along with expertise in family dynamics, children's issues, and couples counseling. Proficiency in conducting assessments, diagnosing conditions, and developing tailored treatment plans is essential. Additionally, a willingness to engage in or undergo training in trauma therapy is highly valued, as there is a significant demand for in-person services for clients dealing with past traumas. The therapist must be available to see clients in the Apple Valley, CA office.
