Our Mission: Evidence Based Psychological Care Inc. is dedicated to providing robust, evidence-based clinical care for children, adolescents, young adults and families. We are a team of female highly trained psychologists and neuropsychologists that want to expand access to evidence-based care and assessments for common childhood and neurodevelopmental disorders including anxiety, depression, ADHD, OCD, BFRB, learning disabilities, autism spectrum disorders and the co-occurence of these concerns. We are looking for passionate and engaged professionals to join our growing team. Providers would gain training from our expert psychologists and neuropsychologists in assessment, diagnosis and specialized treatment methods including CBT, ERP, organizational skills training, parent consultation and coaching and more.
About the Position:
- Clinicians would be expected to see 15-20 clinical hours per week (individual therapy, family therapy, neuropsychological and/or psychological testing).
- The following additional opportunities may be available if a clinician is interested and has the appropriate background: group therapy, community education/talks, or piloting a program or service that you are passionate about.
- Unlicensed candidates would enroll as Psychological Associates or AMFT and work under the supervision of one of our licensed clinical psychologists/neuropsychologists.
- Administrative work will be paid at an admin rate while clinical work will be paid at an agreed clinical rate.
- All hours worked will be paid.
Psychologist Position Requirements:
- PsyD or PhD in Psychology from an APA-accredited program
- APA-accredited internship in child/adolescent/family focused track or APPIC- accredited Post-Doc in child/adolescent/family focused track and/or in pediatric clinical neuropsychology
- Training and supervised experience working with children, teens, and families.
- Available to see 15-20 clinical hours per week and 2-4 hours of paid consults and team meetings
- Available to work in-person in Calabasas 2+ days per week (some opportunities for remote work)
- Already hold or are eligible for a Psychological Associate (formerly “Psychological Assistant”) number or CA Psychologist license.
- Willing to participate in marketing and networking to help generate new referrals
- Value cultural competence and respect for every type of diversity and identity
- Experience and strong desire to work with children or adolescents
- Maintain a positive attitude and focus on clinical care
Bonus Qualifications (Not Requirements):
- Training or certification in CBT or behavioral therapies for adults or children
- Fluent in a second language
