Job Description

Currently seeking MFT Practicum Students from Pepperdine University.  (MFT students from other schools may inquire however, we will need to check in with your university about site requirements prior to moving forward)*

MFT practicum students will provide individual therapy sessions to children, teens and adult clients, attend supervision weekly, learn and assist with administrative responsibilies such as completeing intake paperwork and charting, create curriculum for and lead psychoeducational workshops in the community.

Key Responsibilities

-Maintain a caseload of clients and attend supervision

-Complete clinical documentation and maintain client's charts

-Lead workshops

-Assist with administrative tasks relevant to MFT work

-Must be able to be at the office (Huntington Beach and/or Anaheim)

Skills & Experience

-Basic undertanding of technology.  Insightful resources utilizes an EHR.

-Understanding of the Laws and Ethics of MFT work

-Understanding of BBS paperwork and requirements as well as your university requirements
