Job Description

Rise Healing Center, a group private practice based in Santa Barbara, is looking for licensed mental health therapists to join our team and who are able to have a caseload of 15 clients a week minimum with us. We are hiring for a hybrid role, where you can see clients for at least one day a week in our beautiful Santa Barbara office, in addition to seeing clients virtually. We are a practice that specializes in EMDR and provides high quality care grounded in an understanding of trauma, attachment, and relational healing

While EMDR basic training is desirable, we are currently accepting applicants without it at this time. If you do have your basic training already, we will provide advanced EMDR certification for you, as we strive for providing the highest quality of care. Other desirable trainings or interests include couples work, brainspotting, ACT, polyvagal theory, parts work, somatic techniques and mindfulness. We serve a lot of young adults and college students in our practice so being excited to work with this population is a must.

Rise Healing Center provides a steady stream of referrals and works hard to market the practice. Candidates must be independent, driven, collaborative, and enhance the fun, connected, and positive-minded group of clinicians that we are building. Candidate will be employee W2 status. You will likely see a mix of private pay and EAP clients. Candidates who also have their own private practice will not be considered for this job, as this represents a conflict of interest and goes against out practice policies.

• Competitive compensation - $80/individual session
• Admin pay for non-clinical time at $20/hour
• EMDR certification (including 20 consultation hours and 12 CEUs) if you are EMDR basic trained

Key Responsibilities

Requirements are:

• Current State of California LMFT or LCSW license
• Willing to see clients for 15 hours per week, plus attend weekly team meetings
• Understanding that building a full caseload will take time
• You cannot simultaneously have your own private practice, so as not to have a conflict of interest

Desirable Qualifications

• Training in couples work, brainspotting, ACT, polyvagal theory, parts work, somatic techniques and mindfulness
• Prior private practice experience is a plus
