Key Responsibilities

• Deliver individual, group, and family counseling sessions utilizing therapeutic modalities tailored to the client care.
• Implement crisis intervention strategies to manage acute behavioral health emergencies effectively and ensure patient safety.
• Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams, including medical professionals, case managers, and behavioral health technicians, to facilitate comprehensive treatment approaches.
• Maintain accurate and HIPAA-compliant medical documentation, including progress notes, treatment plans, and medical records using ICD coding standards (ICD-9/10).
• Complete Utilization Reviews for each client on caseload, correlative to ASAM criteria.

Skills & Experience

• Supervising Unlicensed Therapist
• Must have active Licensed in California
• Must have active Med Malpractice Insurance
• Can accept Insurance pay
