Job Description

Integrative Psychological Services (IPS) is a boutique, private-pay psychology practice in Brookline, MA. We provide individualized, high-quality care to children, adolescents, and adults in a warm, collaborative environment.

We are seeking a Massachusetts-licensed psychologist (PhD or PsyD) with experience conducting psychological assessments to join our growing practice on a part-time basis.

This position is particularly well suited to a psychologist who enjoys assessment work but would also like the opportunity to maintain a psychotherapy caseload. We are intentionally a small practice and prioritize clinical quality, autonomy, and sustainable caseloads over high-volume practice.

About the Role

The psychologist will provide a combination of:

• Comprehensive psychological and/or neuropsychological evaluations
• Diagnostic assessment and clarification
• Assessment of ADHD, autism/neurodevelopmental concerns, learning differences, and other presenting concerns consistent with the psychologist's training and expertise
• Clinical interviews, test administration, scoring, interpretation, and written reports
• Feedback sessions with clients and/or families
• Individual psychotherapy, based on the psychologist's clinical interests and experience
• Coordination with other providers, schools, or relevant professionals when clinically appropriate

Compensation

This is a W-2 employee position with percentage-based compensation.

• Psychotherapy: 60% of net collected revenue
• Psychological/neuropsychological assessment: 55% of net collected revenue
• Estimated compensation is approximately $150–$250+ per clinical hour, depending on service type and evaluation complexity

For assessment services, compensation reflects the psychologist's involvement in the full evaluation process, including clinical interviewing, testing, interpretation, and report writing.

What We Provide

IPS covers the costs of practice infrastructure, including a clean and curated office space, administrative support, billing and payment processing, assessment materials and scoring resources, EHR/client portal, and practice-generated referrals.

Unlike an independent private practice or traditional contractor arrangement, psychologists joining IPS do not need to build their own practice infrastructure.

Schedule & Caseload

This is a flexible part-time position, approximately 5–20 clinical hours per week, with the opportunity to adjust hours over time based on availability and referral volume.

We aim to consider each clinician's training, experience, and clinical interests when developing their caseload. However, because IPS is a small practice with an established referral base, clinicians should be comfortable accepting appropriate referrals across a range of presenting concerns and populations within their scope of practice.

We are looking for a psychologist who is collaborative, adaptable, and excited to be part of a small group practice of clinicians who really care about their work!

• PhD or PsyD in Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, or a closely related field
• Current, Massachusetts psychologist license
• Experience conducting psychological and/or neuropsychological assessments
• Strong clinical writing and diagnostic skills
• Experience with psychological testing, interpretation, and report writing
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with other clinicians when appropriate
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to thoughtful, ethical, and individualized clinical care

Experience with psychotherapy is strongly preferred, particularly for clinicians interested in maintaining a combination of assessment and therapy work.
