Requirements: 

  • License: Possess a full and unrestricted license in good standing to practice (LPC, LMHC, LCSW, LMFT) in one or more of the following states: FL, TX, NC, GA, NJ, PA, IL, NJ, VA, DC, MD.
  • Remote Work Readiness: Have access to a computer, webcam, reliable internet connection, and a private, quiet space for sessions.
  • Commitment to a minimum of 10 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities

  • Counsel and provide guidance to individuals or groups facing mental health struggles.
  • Develop and execute individualized treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with clients to establish treatment objectives and milestones.
  • Generate progress reports and correspondence for relevant stakeholders.
  • Educate families and groups on substance abuse treatments and prevention strategies.
  • Facilitate referrals to other healthcare or counseling professionals.
  • Manage your caseload and schedule efficiently.
  • Maintain thorough and timely clinical documentation.

Skills & Experience

  • Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills.
  • High degree of empathy and compassion for clients’ mental health challenges.
  • Ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients.Ability to manage a caseload and maintain timely clinical documentation.Strong interpersonal skills to engage with diverse populations.
  • Proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic modalities (CBT, DBT, EMDR, etc.).
  • Strong diagnostic and assessment skills.
  • Competency in developing and implementing treatment plans.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Strong active listening skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
  • Ability to adapt therapeutic approaches to meet individual client needs
