Psychologists and postdocs at Sunlight Psych offer high-quality evidence based therapy services, including PCIT, CBT, TF-CBT, DBT, and SPACE. The following additional opportunities may be available if a clinician is interested and has the appropriate background: group therapy, community education/talks, or piloting a program or service that you are passionate about. The office is equipped with PCIT equipment which may be utilized if a candidate has the appropriate training. Unlicensed candidates would enroll as Psychological Associates and work under the supervision one of our licensed psychologists. All hours worked will be paid, whether at an admin rate or clinical rate. This is a W-2 position, which means that all hours worked are paid at an admin rate ($25) or clinical rate ($70-100+, depending on licensure and experience). - Maintain timely documentation in line with practice policies and standards
- Attend weekly one-hour consultation with practice owner
- Attend weekly one-hour team meeting with clinical staff
- Participate in networking and outreach calls, meetings, and events to generate new referrals.
Position Requirements:
- PsyD or PhD in Psychology from an APA-accredited program.
- APA-accredited internship in child/adolescent/family focused track or APPIC-accredited Post-Doc in child/adolescent/family focused track
- At least 2 years of clinical training and supervised experience working with children, teens, and families.
- Knowledgeable about psychological testing, including psychometric measurements, standardized administration, and the Therapeautic Collaborative Assessment model.
- Already hold or are eligible for a Psychological Associate (formerly “Psychological Assistant”) number or CA Psychologist license.
- Personable, organized, conscientious, responsible
- Value cultural competence and respect for every type of diversity and identity

- Training or certification in PCIT, PC-CARE, TF-CBT, DBT, or SPACE treatment models
- Fluent in a second language, especially Spanish, Hebrew, Mandarin, or Turkish
