Job Description

KN Therapy is a private practice group of professional licensed clinicians, associates and interns. We are seeking experienced and motivated individuals ( LCSWs and LMFTs or ACSW/AMFTs) looking to work in a private practice setting via telehealth and in San Fernando, CA. This is a (Hybrid) position. 

Key Responsibilities

Essential Duties

• Completes timely adult initial assessments, diagnosis, treatment plans, progress notes & discharge summaries 
• Maintains treatment progress notes documenting medical necessity
• Assists in the coordination of care
• Completes all required KN Therapy and contractor documentation and training
• Assesses for and facilitates treatment referrals to higher levels of care as appropriate
• Documents all activities as required by the company
• Complies with state governing laws

Skills & Experience

Qualifications

• Must have a current Board of Behavioral Sciences CA license or registration number to practice
• Must have the ability to communicate with and relate to diverse groups
• Must have a minimum of 1 year experience providing direct services.                 NO EXCEPTION
• Experience producing mental health assessments using diagnostic criteria from DSM-V
• Cultural competency
• Spanish speaking is preferable
