Job Description

Hi there,

I am a private practice therapist in Lake Tahoe. My practice is fully remote and consists of myself and two amazing associates. We are like a little family and are interested in adding another therapist that will fit nicely into our group. The pay is $40-50 per session (DOE) and a "session" includes time spent with client along with any necessary documentation. Preferably well versed in the electronic health record, Simple Practice and interested in a larger caseload of at least 25-30. We will help you fill your caseload and don't expect you to do that on your own. There is no hurry to build it either as there is with other companies. The one caveat which is not financially motivated is that you invest 100% with Heart and Soul Counseling and not be working in other intern sites or supervised by others. We will be investing in you and want to know that you are in us as well. We're not here to supplement your current caseload at another intern site and if applicable, we would ask that if you have a current caseload, you bring them to our practice.

Key Responsibilities

Our ideal candidate will be spiritually oriented and value mindfulness practices in their day-to-day lives. We are mellow and ask that you be too. We want this to feel like it is your own private practice and allow you to run it with independence and autonomy while also keeping an eye on things to make sure laws and ethics are being adhered to. We are fully remote and would love someone local to NorCal to join us but open to anyone in CA as long as you are a good fit. We are all trained in Brainspotting and would love if you took interest in this as well, although not required. 

Skills & Experience

We are open to any skill/experience level. All employers are looking for similar qualities right? incredibly organized, timely, responsible, autonomous, self starter, motivated to build your practice (we help you with this too) etc etc. We want you to be heart-centered and see your patients as whole and complete, capable of navigating their way through any/all life challenges. It is important that you have done your own 'work' and are committed to continuing this process  throughout your employment with Heart and Soul Counseling. If interested, please reach out.
