Work in the following territory cities: West Covina, Walnut, Baldwin Park, Covina, La Puente w/ PAID mileage

​Job Description/Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Provide in-home services to children under 0- 3 that have developmental delays.
  • Infant teacher addresses social skills, fine motor, gross motor, self-help and language development.
  • Travel to every client’s home. Children are seen in their homes for a one-hour session.
  • Provide 1 hour of service per client and follow an established curriculum.
  • Write a summary note after each session.
  • Work collaboratively with Clinical Director.
  • Attend mandatory monthly meetings.
  • Meet with the Clinical Director once a month to review client’s progress and get support.
  • Required skills and experience
    • Minimum of 3 years of administrative and customer service experience 
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience school-based services, preferred 
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a warm and professional phone manner 
    • Demonstrated ability to stay organized, multi-task and prioritize work, and help the team meet goals 
    • Strong track record of building relationships 
    • Ability to collaborate to deliver an excellent client experience as part of a team 
    • Ability to learn and adapt to new technology platforms 
    • Passion for helping families access autism therapy services 
    • Enjoys creative problem-solving
    •  Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) 
    • Bilingual Spanish skills preferred 

Key Responsibilities

Qualifications:

  • Languages: Spanish, Armenian, Korean preferred but not required.
  • Must have open availability during the week preferably during the morning (8am-12pm) and mid-day (12pm-4pm) shifts.
  • Must meet a minimum requirement of 20 client hours per week.

  • Flexibility and Availability: Candidates should have at least 10 hours of the 20 required hours available during most afternoons and evenings, making it ideal for students or those seeking a flexible schedule.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Effective communication and documentation skills are key to building strong relationships with clients and ensuring accurate session notes.
  • Reliable Transportation: Access to reliable transportation is a must, as you'll be traveling to client homes to provide services and support.
  • Clearances and Checks: Successful candidates must pass background checks, TB tests, and pre-employment exams, with costs covered by the company.
  • Educational Background and Enrollment: Candidates must have completed a bachelors degree
  • Must have a reliable car and cell phone.
  • The candidate must be responsible, detailed oriented, and have good communication skills.
  • Must enjoy working with children and families.
  • Employees must feel comfortable driving and providing services within but not limited to La Puente, Baldwin Park, Covina, West Covina, Walnut, Glendora, Covina, Azusa, Pomona
  • We will try to match you with clients in your geographic residence.

Skills & Experience


What We Are Looking For:
  • Show a strong interest in working with kids
  • Have previous experience working with children (preferred)
  • Available in the afternoon/early evening
  • Bilingual skills a plus but not required
  • Must have own reliable transportation, and valid driver’s license, auto registration and auto insurance
  • Proof of immunization records and TB required
  • Background check

 

Physical Requirements:
  • Walking, occasional running, standing, sitting, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, twisting, reaching above head, bending and carrying up to 50 pounds
  • Work may involve playing with children that can occur on the floor or settings where the furniture is child size
  • Diligently attending to the safety of the child and surroundings is required
  • Quick and sudden movements may be required
  • Sustained physical exertion may be required for up to 45 minutes
