Job Description

FLORIDA Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Licensed Clinical Psychologist, psychotherapist, counselor, therapist, private practice.

We are a busy, established, modern mental health private practice serving Okaloosa, Walton, and Santa Rosa Counties with in-person accessibility and state-wide across Florida with telehealth services. We are seeking experienced therapists (Florida Licensed Mental Health Counselors, Licensed Clinical Social Workers, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists, and/or Licensed Clinical Psychologists) to provide behavioral health services to adults, adolescents, and children. We have openings for independent contracted full-time and part-time roles in our insurance- and self-pay-based practice. Our office provides patients/case load, marketing, scheduling, billing, administrative support, and office space. Therapists must be credentialed, or eligible to be credentialed, on major insurance panels and our office staff aids with the credentialing process, if needed. Please note, the credentialing process can take up to five months. Our diverse team comes from a variety of backgrounds and disciplines including academia, military service, substance abuse treatment, and child welfare organizations allowing our practice to serve our patients and community with specialties that meet their needs, ages, and experiences. Key Responsibilities

Job Description and Duties include (but are not limited to): Conducting thorough biopsychosocial/diagnostic intakes with adults, teens, and children to gather key information regarding the history to assist in making an accurate diagnosis and creating a personalized treatment plan.

Developing an in-depth understanding of the issues the individual is facing and how variables such as family dynamics, environmental factors, and interpersonal interactions impact the treatment plan.

Building a strong, trusting therapeutic relationship with patients, helping them feel comfortable, safe and secure.

Educating the individual and family on the diagnosis including age appropriate information on the etiology, prevalence, symptoms and empirically supported treatment and interventions.

Working closely with other professionals including referring clinician, referring physician, school staff and other healthcare practitioners to develop and monitor treatment goals.

Conducting psychological/psychoeducational evaluations and assessments to create a strong foundation for making sound, objective decisions.

Preparing treatment summaries, reports, analytical reviews, progress reports, opinion and recommendation papers; ensures all documentation is current and complete.

Providing efficient and timely documentation of therapy and other services utilizing electronic medical records in accordance with practice policies and procedures and insurance regulations.

Encouraging and promoting collaborative relationships with other clinicians and staff within the practice and community.

Applying excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills in working with patients, families, and colleagues.

Demonstrating clinically sound, ethical, evidence-based, compliant practices.

Work Location: One location for in-person services; hybrid/flexible for telehealth services in Niceville, FL

Pay: Monthly based on total amount received for specific sessions/patient visits.
