Job Description

Love, Listen and Play is a private psychotherapy group practice that is truly passionate in fostering wellness to communities. We provide comprehensive diagnostic assessments and therapy to children, adolescents and adults. Love, Listen, and Play is looking to expand by hiring Licensed Psychotherapists (LCSW, LMFT, Psychologists) to join the group practice. The focus will be on your clinical work. There is no requirement to network or market your services. We will provide you with a full schedule of clients to help you complete your hours and sharpen your skills. We have a full administrative team to assist with scheduling, client communication, and office functionality. We currently need two full-time clinicians. The position is hourly and the pay is competitive. 

 

We are seeking Licensed Mental Health Therapists for our Long Beach, CA office– we offer  Hybrid services which include Telehealth and In-Person sessions.

Key Responsibilities

Candidate will:

 

  • Be fully licensed in the State of California.

  • Conduct assessments, compile detailed intake evaluations, diagnose, and administer treatment to children, adolescents, parents, and adults.

  • Apply for credentialing by select private insurance under the group practice.

  • Demonstrate 1experience in delivering psychotherapy to children, adolescents, and/or adults.

  • Possess training or undergoing education in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy and/or other evidenced-based treatments.

  •  
    Possess training or undergoing education in Child-Parent Psychotherapy and/or Play Therapy, with a specialization in serving clients ranging from school-aged children to teens.
  • Be able to provide crisis intervention, client recovery, and complete daily documentation.

  • Have cultural sensitivity to diverse populations, including but not limited to sexual, racial, religious, and socioeconomic diversity.

  • Commitment to principles of patient and family-centered care.

Our ideal candidate profile:

 

  • Current State of California license as a PhD, PsyD, LCSW, LMFT

  • Required education:   Master's or Doctorate

  • Therapists passionate about specializing in children, adolescents, and their families, with occasional adult cases.

  • Psychotherapists who thrive in independent work settings.

  • At least one in-person office day in Long Beach (Monday and/or Tuesday)

  • Ability to work remotely and in-person sessions 

  • Ready, willing, and able to start credentialing process ASAP

  • Prior experience in a clinic setting is a plus

  • Proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
