Reporting to the Clinical Director, the Primary Therapist delivers clinical services to clients with eating disorders and/or mental health disorders and their families including individual, group and/or family sessions; provides appropriate documentation of services; provides case management as needed; participates in training and supervision as needed.
● Per diem with intention to move into part-time
● Estimated 6-20 hours per week
● In-person in Encino
Compensation
● Compensation for licensed clinicians is $60/hourly
● Compensation for registered associates is $45/hourly
● Facilitate individual, family and group sessions as assigned in Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), Transitional Aftercare Program and/or group practice outpatient services.
● Sit for meals/snacks as scheduled.
● Coordinate episodes of care for assigned clients internally among AlignED Care team and externally with appropriate contacts.
● Completes clinical documentation in accordance with program requirements.
● Establish therapeutic rapport with clients and families of origin/families of choice.
● Participates in treatment team meetings as assigned.
● Coordinates client aftercare plans.
● If applicable, receive clinical supervision as required by training and licensure.
● Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
● Must have experience working with eating disorders.
● Masters or higher degree in psychology, social work or related field.
● Current clear licensure/registration in the state of California (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, Ph.D./Psy.D., ACSW, AMFT, APCC).
Specific Skills/Competencies
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
● Excellent organizational and time management skills.
● Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
General Skills and Requirements
● Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
● Able to work for prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
