Job Description

Reporting to the Clinical Director, the Primary Therapist delivers clinical services to clients with eating disorders and/or mental health disorders and their families including individual, group and/or family sessions; provides appropriate documentation of services; provides case management as needed; participates in training and supervision as needed.

       Per diem with intention to move into part-time

       Estimated 6-20 hours per week

       In-person in Encino

Compensation

       Compensation for licensed clinicians is $60/hourly

       Compensation for registered associates is $45/hourly

Key Responsibilities

       Facilitate individual, family and group sessions as assigned in Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), Transitional Aftercare Program and/or group practice outpatient services.

       Sit for meals/snacks as scheduled.

       Coordinate episodes of care for assigned clients internally among AlignED Care team and externally with appropriate contacts.

       Completes clinical documentation in accordance with program requirements.

       Establish therapeutic rapport with clients and families of origin/families of choice.

       Participates in treatment team meetings as assigned.

       Coordinates client aftercare plans.

       If applicable, receive clinical supervision as required by training and licensure.

       Performs other duties as assigned.

Skills & Experience

Requirements

       Must have experience working with eating disorders.

       Masters or higher degree in psychology, social work or related field.

       Current clear licensure/registration in the state of California (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, Ph.D./Psy.D., ACSW, AMFT, APCC).

Specific Skills/Competencies

       Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

       Excellent organizational and time management skills.

       Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.

General Skills and Requirements

       Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.

       Able to work for prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
