Job Description

Three Figs Counseling Center seeks a dedicated individual to join our growing group practice. Our office is a hybrid, with an office in Davis and a virtual office throughout California. Clinicians would be expected to be in the office one day a week minimum. Maintain an average caseload of 24 clients per week.

Associates will be able to provide comprehensive and professional mental health services including all phases of assessment, child, family, or adult treatment, parental consultation, case and medication management, crisis intervention, and discharge in compliance with company and community standards of service. 

 

 

 

 

Key Responsibilities

Associates can provide counseling services to clients on interpersonal concerns, goals, and personal objectives. Facilitate the client's growth and inquire about feelings and behaviors as they relate to patterns of dissatisfaction or dysregulation within their lives. Coordinate with caseworkers, probation officers, social workers, and school personnel as necessary to ensure complete coordination of client care.

Provide symptom-specific treatment as defined by treatment goals while utilizing a range of relevant and standard practice interventions, including expressive arts, family therapy, and cognitive behavioral interventions, including client need for cultural accommodations and ensuring cultural needs are met through direct service, or in coordination with community resources.

Prepare reports and correspondence, and maintain a variety of documentation, such as charting session notes, assessment plans, treatment plan objectives, progress reports, discharge summaries, and other data under classification standards and using Electronic Health Records, no later than 7 days of session or client contact.

Complete mandated reporting according to legal guidelines and comply with HIPAA standards and regulations.

Seeks case consultation either individually or in groups, each week with their clinical supervisor. Seek and maintain additional supervision for specialized training, if needed.

 

Regularly create and maintain professional relationships within the community by networking and marketing self and practice growth.

 

Associates will attend Three Fig Counseling practice or local therapist events to market and maintain professional relationships within the local community.

Skills & Experience

Requirements include being provisionally licensed in the State of California with an APCC, AMFT, or similar field, preferably with private practice experience (but not required). Therapists must have niche(s) ideas or interests in adolescents, young adults, couples, families, anxiety, relationships, trauma, EMDR, EFT, etc., and be willing to market themselves to grow their referral base and recognition in the community. Training provided. 

Three Figs Counseling provides a steady stream of referrals as well. Candidate must be independent, driven, and enjoy collaboration, and enhance our fun, connected, and positive-minded group. The candidate will be a W2 employee status. 

Supervision is paid time by the practice and included weekly until clinicians become licensed.
