Job Description

LA Therapy & Family Counseling is growing and looking for a passionate, dedicated Associate Marriage & Family Therapist (AMFT) or Associate Clinical Social Worker (ACSW) to join our remote team! This is a fully remote position focused on providing high-quality therapy to children and families. Spanish-speaking candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individual, family, and/or group therapy for children, teens, and adults

• Deliver care using evidence-based approaches (Play therapy, CBT, DBT, EMDR, etc.)

• Documentation is required to be completed within 48 hours of each session

• Formulate assessments and SMART goal treatment plans

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in SimplePractice

• Collaborate with a warm, engaged clinical team

Skills & Experience

• Registered as an AMFT or ACSW in good standing with the BBS

• On first Associate registration

• Minimum of 500 hours accrued under current registration

• Comfortable working with children and families

• Strong clinical, organizational, and communication skills

• Familiar with DSM-V and clinical interventions

• Committed to ethical, high-quality care

• Proficient in time management
