Job Description

Thrive Therapy Studio, a busy group psychotherapy practice in Sorrento Valley is seeking a new therapist to join our team. We love mentoring pre-licensed therapists who are in need of supervision and who want to build a long term future with our practice. We prefer candidates who have less than 1,000 hours completed. The most important goal is to build our team with the right candidate who fits with our fun, positive, collaborative group culture. At Thrive, we work with children, teens, and adults and are looking to add a therapist to our team who also loves working with children, teens, and families. We are specifically looking for a candidate who has experience working with children, teens, AND parents. Candidate will be employee status and supervision towards licensure will be provided if needed.

The position starts as part time and will be full time as you build your caseload, which can take time. Candidates must have experience and be passionate about working with children, teens, and parents. Candidates must be able to work weekend hours. We are also happy to offer a hybrid schedule, with in person and telehealth sessions.

Key Responsibilities

Our team offers a lot of training, supervision, and support. The position is highly collaborative in clinical nature but day to day, our team members operate fairly independently due to the nature of private practice. Our team members are responsible for their clinical documentation, emailing and phone calls, coordinating with potential clients, and charging and scheduling their clients.
