Associate Therapist (W-2, Telehealth) – Full Vida Therapy

Location: Remote (Telehealth – California Only)

Position: W-2 Employee (Part-Time, with Potential to Grow to Full-Time)

Compensation: $30-$35 per session

Hours: Start part-time with a goal of building to full-time (25 client sessions/week)

About Full Vida Therapy

Full Vida Therapy is an insurance-based and private-pay, telehealth-only group practice serving individuals, teens, couples, and families across California.

We maintain a steady referral stream and support associates in building sustainable caseloads.

While we specialize in trauma, PTSD, anxiety, grief, and life transitions, associates are welcome to work within their clinical strengths and interests.

Who We're Looking For

We are seeking a motivated Associate Therapist (AMFT, APCC, or ASW) who is eager to grow a long-term career in private practice while maintaining the flexibility and autonomy that telehealth provides.

This role is ideal for someone who:

• Wants a W-2 role with flexibility in scheduling.
• Is looking to build a full-time caseload (25 client sessions/week).
• Values high-quality supervision, mentorship, and professional growth.
• Wants the benefits of private practice without the burden of running a business.
• Is comfortable engaging in marketing and outreach (with guidance and tools provided).

We are looking for therapists who are motivated to build and maintain a full caseload and who are comfortable taking an active role in client engagement and retention, with support and guidance from the practice.

What We Offer

• W-2 Employment – Taxes withheld, structure provided, no 1099 responsibilities.
• Clinical Supervision & Professional Mentorship – Weekly supervision to support licensure and skill-building.
• Paid Administrative Time – Approximately 5–6 hours per week at full caseload
• Paid Clinical Supervision – Required supervision hours are paid
• Flexible Scheduling – You set your own hours while working toward full-time (25 clients per week).
• Practice Infrastructure – Secure telehealth platform, professional email, and administrative support provided.
• Paid Sick Leave & PTO – Available to employees.
• 401(k) with Employer Contribution – Available after 12 months of employment.
• CEU Stipend – Available at 1 year of employment for therapists meeting client acquisition goals.

Compensation includes paid clinical session time, paid supervision, and paid administrative time.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality telehealth therapy to individuals, couples, teens, and/or families.
• Work toward building and maintaining a caseload of 25 client sessions per week.
• Attend weekly clinical supervision (required for licensure).
• Maintain appropriate clinical documentation in a timely manner.
• Engage in marketing & networking efforts (with guidance) to help establish your presence.

While we provide consistent referrals and infrastructure support, successful therapists in this role are those who are proactive, responsive to inquiries, and engaged in their professional growth.

Qualifications

• Registered AMFT, APCC, or ASW (must have a valid BBS Associate number). Please do not apply if you do not have your official BBS associate number. 
• Available for at least 10 clients per week to start, with a goal of full-time (25 client sessions/week).
• Strong clinical skills with a passion for working in private practice.
• Participate in outreach and marketing efforts as needed to support caseload growth (training and guidance provided)
• Must reside in California and be legally eligible to provide telehealth services in the state.

Additional Details

• Compensation: $30-$35 per session
• This is a W-2 employee position, NOT an independent contractor role.
• Therapists are not limited to working with trauma clients—you may see clients based on your clinical strengths and interests.
