Job Description

Transformations Counseling is seeking a motivated and reliable pre-licensed therapist (APCC, AMFT, or ASW) for a part-time hybrid position providing both virtual and in-person therapy services in Ventura, CA.

This is a W-2 position ideal for clinicians seeking mentorship, flexibility, and the opportunity to grow within a supportive private practice environment. Associates will provide individual therapy services, maintain clinical documentation, and participate in supervision and consultation.

Candidates must be available for in-person sessions in Ventura. Furnished office provided. 

Key Responsibilities

• Provide virtual and in-person psychotherapy sessions
• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation
• Manage a consistent caseload and maintain professionalism with clients
• Participate in supervision and consultation
• Communicate effectively regarding scheduling and client care
• Uphold ethical and professional standards of practice

Skills & Experience

• Registered with the California BBS as an APCC, AMFT, or ASW
• Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, or related field
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Professional, reliable, and organized
• Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively
• Experience providing psychotherapy in practicum, internship, community mental health, or private practice settings preferred
• Active NPI number and professional liability insurance preferred
• New graduates preparing to apply for BBS registration are encouraged to apply
