Associate Therapist – In-Person & Telehealth (Evening & Weekend Availability Required)

Peace of Mind Wellness & Family Counseling, Inc. is a group private practice in Orange County, California, seeking passionate and skilled Associate Therapists to join our team.

🚨 This role requires conducting both in-person and Telehealth counseling sessions during evenings and/or weekends. Please apply only if you are available for these hours.

Position Overview

We are looking for therapists with expertise in:

• Clinical interviewing and assessment techniques
• Providing individual, family, couples, and group counseling
• Crisis intervention, psychiatric assessment, and therapeutic treatment
• Developing and implementing effective treatment plans
• Applying psychological theories to support client growth and recovery
• Understanding and adhering to laws and regulations regarding patient rights

Key Responsibilities

✔ Conduct individual, family, couples, and group counseling
✔ Develop and implement treatment plans, monitoring client progress
✔ Perform clinical assessments and accurately diagnose using established criteria
✔ Provide crisis intervention and facilitate appropriate referrals when needed
✔ Evaluate clients for medication referrals as necessary
✔ Maintain client confidentiality and ensure accurate clinical documentation
✔ Adhere to ethical and legal standards, including laws regarding patient rights

Skills & Experience

✔ Proficiency in clinical interviewing and assessment techniques
✔ Strong understanding of psychiatric interventions and treatment methods
✔ Knowledge of psychological theories and their application in therapy
✔ Ability to analyze crisis situations quickly and implement effective interventions
✔ Excellent written and verbal communication skills for documentation and reporting
