There is a myth that private practice is an isolating and lonely career that has no room for creative expression and skills. We are happy to say that we have created a supportive environment for clinicians as well as an effective group practice that is well respected in our community.  We are excited about working with new up and coming clinicians and would like to add another dedicated and compassionate Associate Marriage and Family Therapists or Associate Clinical Social Worker to our Walnut Creek office. 

Let’s be honest. Truly transformative therapy work is difficult to learn from a textbook. Most of your training and expertise will come from real life experiences, which is why our supervisor Dina Ramaha LCSW knows how important it is to have a mentor and supervisor that is experienced in a variety of different mental health services.  She is an expert in incorporating a holistic approach to healing by looking outside the box of traditional therapy.  If you are as passionate as we are about learning these valuable skills and collaborating with an outstanding team, we’d love to hear from you! AMFT/ASW Position Details:

• Availability for in-person sessions at our Walnut Creek location.
• Minimum commitment of 10-15 client sessions per week.
• Availability to schedule clients at least 2-3 days per week, within the hours of 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. time frame.
• Compensation: $35-45 per session hour, based on experience.
• Start date of  January 15th 2025.

Requirements:

• Active Associate Marriage and Family Therapist or Associate Clinical Social Worker with the California Board of Behavioral Science.
• A Master's degree in Marriage & Family Therapy, Social Work, or a related field.
• Ability to attend group supervision on Wednesdays from 11:30am-1:30pm.
• Strong commitment to client-centered care, professional growth, and collaborative teamwork.
• Completion of treatment plans, clinical notes, and other documentation on time. 
• Clinical experience working with adults.
