Job Description

Position Overview:
·       Role: Associate Marriage and Family Therapist

·       Caseload Expectations: 22-26 clients per week

·       Compensation: $50 per session for client's going through insurance, 50/50 split for cash pay clients, one hour of paid administrative work, paid supervision (Admin & Supervision $17/hour)

·       Supervision: Weekly supervision provided (Virtual or in person)

·       Work Environment: Telehealth only

Key Responsibilities

Expectations: As an integral part of my practice, you will be expected to:

1.    Demonstrate Dedication: Show commitment to ongoing professional development and a desire to transition into your own private practice post-licensure.

2.    Client Engagement: Conduct sessions and work with clients through the implementation of adequate theoretical approaches and interventions.

3.    Collaboration: Work collaboratively within a supportive team environment.

4.    Professionalism: Uphold the ethical and legal standards.

5.    MUST commit to marketing and building online presence to attract clients

·       Associate number provided by the BBS

·       Must have notes/administrative work completed by the end of each week

·       Strong interpersonal skills

·       Willingness to learn and grow in a supportive environment

·       Must have/create Psychology Today profile 

 

About Me: As the supervising Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I believe in the importance of proper theoretical approaches given the context of case conceptualizations. I am passionate about utilizing psychodynamic theory with a specialized focus on attachment. I am trained in EMDR and have earned a certification as an equine-assisted mental health practitioner. I strive to provide a holistic approach with those I work with, and strongly value the connection between mind, body, and soul. I value candidates with great personalities who share a passion for psychology and are dedicated to making a positive impact in the lives of those we serve.
