Job Description

Rouse Relational Wellness is a small group practice in the Castro neighborhood of San Francisco, CA.

 

We are seeking one or two part-time master's level associate (AMFT, ASW, APCC) or licensed counselors (LCSW, LMFT or LPC) in the state of California for our onsite location in our Castro, San Francisco office, with options for remote sessions as desired. Clinicians will provide sex and relationship therapy to individuals, couples, polyamorous relationships and an option to run groups or one-off workshops.

 

We provide comprehensive, sex-positive, culturally and trauma-informed care to our clients. We specialize in working with the LGBTQIA+, kinky and polyamorous communities, as well as those who have immigrated, are first-generation American born, and multiheritage couples.

Key Responsibilities

Specific Clinical Therapist Duties

  • Facilitating sessions with clients in person or remote
  • Facilitating wraparound services with clients other care providers
  • Documenting and reporting sessions, including interventions and referrals given
  • Paid for sessions offered and payments received from clients
  • Attending regular employee meetings and trainings (virtual)

Skills & Experience

Requirements

  • Master's level degree in counseling psychology, social work or equivalent discipline
  • An unrestricted Associate Social Work (ASW), Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT), Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselors (LPC) or Licensed Psychologists (Licensed Psychologists) in the state of California.
  • Work-related experience in private practice, individual, couples and group therapy as well as psycho-social assessment
  • Passion and experience with sex and relationship therapy
  • Foundational training in couples therapy (Developmental Model, Gottman, EFT, PACT, etc)
  • Dependable, organized with efficient time management skills
  • Available one weekday evening and/or one weekend day
  • Private practice experience is a plus
