Position: Bilingual Associate Child Therapist (ASW, AMFT, APCC)

Seeking motivated BBS-registered child Therapists to join our team in Ventura, California.

We specialize in Evidence-Based Treatments, with a focus on PCIT

Equipped with fully furnished PCIT rooms

Opportunity for PCIT certification under a dually-certified trainer

This role is OFFICE-BASED

Starting pay at $36/hr for clinical work and $22/hr for administrative tasks

Potential for raises after 6 months and beyond, up to $60/clinical hour and $25/admin hour 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide mental health support to children and their families through individual, family, and group therapy sessions
  • Conduct patient assessments and develop treatment plans based on the DSM-V criteria
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive and effective treatment approaches
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation for all therapy sessions
  • Participate in mandatory workshops and staff meetings
  • Foster a supportive and collaborative work environment for the team

 

Skills & Experience

  • Must hold an active California provisional license/registration for AMFT/ASW/APCC
  • Must possess a Master's or Doctoral degree (doctoral degree optional)
  • Required to adhere to professional laws, codes, ethics, and regulations
  • Previous experience working with children in clinical settings is preferred
  • Being multilingual is advantageous
  • Must be willing to acquire and excel in diagnostic and assessment skills
  • Able to travel to and work at the Ventura office
  • Must demonstrate both independence and teamwork skills
