Affirming Psychological Services (APS) is seeking a full-time Associate Therapist (AMFT, ASW, or APCC) to join our insurance-based group practice in Irvine, CA. We provide LGBTQIA+ affirming, neurodivergent-affirming, trauma-informed care to children, adolescents, and adults.
This position is designed to be your primary professional role, not supplemental work. We are seeking clinicians who want to build and sustain a full caseload within a structured, high-demand practice.
We are hiring for an immediate opening and are seeking candidates who can begin within 2–4 weeks.
Full-time at APS is defined as 22 or more completed client sessions per week. Most clinicians schedule 25 or more sessions to account for cancellations. Due to steady referral volume, new clinicians typically fill within 3–5 weeks.
Compensation is $39.24 per hour. We pay the same hourly rate for all hours worked, including clinical services, documentation, and supervision. We do not use a lower administrative rate.

22 clients seen per week: approximately $55,000 to $58,000
24 clients seen per week: approximately $60,000 to $63,000
30 clients seen per week: approximately $74,000 to $77,000
