About Ever after Therapy

We are a small, virtual based therapy group that aims to make mental health more accessible and affordable to clients while providing an exceptional work environment for our mental health providers.

About the Role

 

This therapist role will provide mental health treatment to our adult or adolescent clients with caseloads of their choosing including hours worked and client type accepted. Our practice support staff provides screening of clinical intakes, appointment scheduling, a virtual platform for conducting sessions and inputting notes, advertising, and administrative support, so you can focus on what you do best - therapy!

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Provide mental health therapy per your license and board requirements
  • Diagnose and treat mental health disorders
  • Meet with patients on a clinically appropriate basis
  • Maintain documentation including progress notes, diagnosis, and treatment plans in a timely manner
  • Maintain client confidentiality per state and federal regulations
  • Conduct ongoing assessment of patient progress, working toward established goals of treatment
  • Conduct safety assessments, planning when needed and follow all safety protocols and procedures
  • Support practice by occasionally completing tasks as required and relevant to your role
  • Expected hours: 1 – 30 per week

Skills & Experience

Candidate Requirements

  • Master's degree in a mental health field, such as Social Work, Counseling Psychology, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Clinical Psychology, from an accredited institution.
  • Eligible for licensure or already hold licensure as a therapist in California
  • License/Certification: LMFT, LCSW, or LPC/LPCC
  • 3-5 years of experience (including pre-licensure experience)
  • Excellent writing, reporting and communication skills
  • Ability to maintain malpractice insurance
  • Ability to work 10+ hours per week
